Worcester, Mass., —February 27, 2009—Michael Connors has been named Chief Executive Officer of Bulbs.com, a leading online retailer of replacement lighting headquartered in Worcester, Massachusetts. The announcement was made recently by Bulbs.com Board Chairman Donald Walker of Arbor Partners LLC.
Mr. Connors came to Bulbs.com shortly after the company began operations in August 1999. He has held the position of Vice President Sales & Marketing since 2002 and brings to his new role 25 years of strategic management experience from a wide range of manufacturing and distribution businesses.
"Mike has a vast knowledge of ecommerce and brings a broad resume of achievements through his assignments in both b2b and b2c businesses. He has a deep commitment to our stakeholders and we're very pleased to have him take on this new challenge", said Walker.

Mr. Connors takes over from founder Steven Rothschild who is leaving the company after guiding the venture-backed start-up to its current status as one of the leading online distributors of replacement lighting.
Prior to coming to Bulbs.com, Mr. Connors worked in senior sales and marketing roles for Boston Retail Products of Medford, Massachusetts and for Avery Dennison, a global leader in the office products industry. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts and holds an MBA from Nichols College.
